The Poetry Archive is an online repository for recorded works of poetry that seeks to "conserve voices that might otherwise be lost." Primarily a U.K. focused archive, this site continues to become more valuable as it actively acquires material.
The Poetry Archive contains both contemporary voices, in audio and video, as well as previously difficult and rare recordings of old masters of poetry.
Works by Stephen Spender, Thoedore Roethke, Billy Collins, Walter De la Mare, Sigfried Sassoon, Stevie Smith, W.B. Yeats, Dylan Thomas, Edith Sitwell, Wendy Cope, Robert Browning, and many others are available currently with more added frequently.
